So the coolest event of late winter was the notion that Speed the Plough, a band I helped found a long, long, time ago would reform and concertize a few times a year.

I've also been very busy linking a literacy endeavor to the notion of technology integration. Best practices, I like to tell colleagues, don't necessarily exist: we are inventing them! Great reasons to move technology from the lab to the classroom:

• More teachers in the room, making more resources available to the students
• Teachers get to see firsthand how fearless and facile digital natives are in learning how to employ the new literacy tools
• Industrial error "tool training" is replaced by JIT (just-in-time) mini-sessions to support student learning efforts

Also doing remodeling on the homefront and reading, reading, reading.
